Big 10 did fine with 11 for quite a while. It shouldn't make much of a difference, we'll just have a 7 team west and a 6 team east for a bit. If this is true than thank God, I almost threw up when I saw Missouri was coming

North Carolina is a tough nut to crack. UNC isn't realistic.
I completely agree. I can never see North Carolina, Duke, North Carolina State leaving ACC basketball and each other. If any schools are bound to the ACC they are the North Carolina schools. Moreover, the ACC has just realized its long sought dream of staging their basketball tournament at Madison Square Garden in New York.
We could perhaps lure away an ACC football-centered school, particularly a Virginia Tech, Clemson, or Florida State. However, this all depends on whether Slive maintains his position of not poaching the ACC.
I still think the most likely scenarios include a Missouri, West Virginia, or Louisville.

perhaps this is a dumb question and I know there are SEC traditionalists that would scoff simply b/c of the schools name but what about East Carolina? Its a fairly large school in North Carolina and they fill their stadium up to the point they are set to expand.
Perhaps it would be better to get a lesser known school in the region the SEC wants and then try to grow their brand?

Then just eliminate the divisons. Give everyone 1-2 permanent rivalry games, and then put everyone else on a rotation. Best two teams play for the championship at the end.
This seems like a logical solution. With 13 teams, why give a shite about the divisions anyway? I think a 14th should be added eventually, but why would the SEC paint itself into a corner by trying to work unbalanced schedules for the sake of preserving divisions?
