per Chippy Brown (take it FWIW)
ETA: In a tweet 1 minute later he goes on to say
quote:
SEC commish Mike Slive laying down the red carpet to get Texas AND Texas A&M. Offered to move 2 teams from SEC W to SEC E for them.
ETA: In a tweet 1 minute later he goes on to say
quote:
I'm told Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State are going to the Pac-10 with or without Texas A&M.

Eff to the NO on Texas.
The day they are in the SEC, is the same day they will think they are supposed to rule the place on and off the field. HELL NO

Slive better be laying out the red carpet. Carpe the diem and all that.

I'll post this again here...this doesn't make sense. Why would Slive put 8 teams in the East with only 6 in the West?

I would have to believe he's bringing four teams to the west if he does this.

That was based off some newscasters twit about an interview he did with the sooners QB coach. This has 0 credibility.
Yeah come to the SEC Texas and Oklahoma were you will get the crap kicked out of you every week.

the official OU news twitter called that report false.

If it was Bama and Auburn going over (which makes sense in a way) then they could move a team over from the East to even it out. But it would have to be a decent team otherwise the East would just be too good.
Or they move Bama and Auburn and add four teams to the West. The two Texas schools and the two Oklahoma schools.
Not likely at all but I guess its possible.

true
but when nebraska's AD is playing it close to the vest weeks after the rumored big 10 offer it's hard to take a text from some low level assistant seriously.
