There are some that think some SEC presidents will push for say a Maryland to get into the DC area market, but that does seem a little far and I just don't see Maryland wanting the SEC

We might as well squash OK State (as well as the others) from this conversation. We're getting A&M from the West.
Makes more sense to focus on the East. Assuming states without brothers already in the conference, that realistically gives us UNC, Duke (if Vandy moves west), NC State, VA Tech, and West Virginia.
My biggest concern is what is VaTech when Beamer steps down?

That will be a ways off barring the unexpected, Beamer just signed an extension through 2016.
ETA: My eyesight is not as good as it was, fixed the year above.

I now see where the PAC is looking to add OU. In this case (and in light of the Big 10's ambitions), I would think that FSU has to garner serious attention from the SEC as the East addition, despite Florida's misgivings.

Just checking: This is the Southeastern Conference we're talking about, right?

The statement "if it's not BROKE don't fix it" comes to mind...and the sec is definitely NOT broke, so IMO don't change it, just b.c. Tam is ticked at ut.
Anyways whatever and

I don't want anyone added, but if we had to, I wouldn't be completely opposed to the following schools:
TAMU
FSU
Clemson
UNC
UVA
TAMU
FSU
Clemson
UNC
UVA

Please, don't add the whorns.
Instead of East division and West Division, why not Blue and Gold Divisions?

I really like A&M, Mizzou, and Houston.
