I think we need a football board. The SEC rant is not a football board. Its so identified as SEC that considerations of the sport altogether is hobbled at best.
We have not yet seen a consideration of the Nebraska move.
Here is my summary. Nebraska is going to get better in basketball and worse in football.
Its about access to recruiting. Chicago, in the heart of the B10, abounds with basketball players.
Texans are less likely to find playing football at Nebraska so attractive. Neb wont be on the B12 Network. Nebraska will be the midwest: a great distance, and with serious winters.
For hoops, for a guy from Chicago or the Quad Cities, serious winter is every day stuff.

And like the coaching changes board, it will only be a matter of time before it's brought back (unlike the coaching changes board, it's impossible to predict when this time will be ).
