Everytime i'm tailgating in AU I always wear my Bama gear, even when it's not an Iron Bowl. I've never had any trouble
ETA: I'm with a bucnh of AU fans too though, maybe that's why?
ETA2: I don't consider my Bama gear to be redneck

Lets see here: one game in 05' and one game in 08'. I attend at least one Alabama football game a year (and have since I was a kid). So no, it's not the norm for this to happen to me.
In 05' I was driving in my car, minding my own business when that drunk fricker came up to my car. In 08' I was trying to leave the stadium, and once again minding my own business.
I am a respectful guest at BDS (only other SEC stadium I've been to). I am respectful of other fans in general. I don't get in people's faces, or talk shite to them.
I'd hardly call wearing a red shirt (UA-TN game incident's wardrobe) or an Auburn hoodie (IB game incident's wardrobe) as being redneck gear.

I don't disagree. Of course Pres Barron isn't going to say anything without something to talk about. I mean the Palm Beach Post had an article up earlier today saying it that "This is real" from a source close to FSU.
