Genius, you haven't proven anything but how far up your arse you have your head stuck.
No, the last time we went over this you didn't even understand the differences between the ranking publications. You kept confusing Forbes with US News. You also didn't understand their metrics at all.

Your own compadres are up in arms and want Cowen gone because of Tulane's declining academic ratings and are using specific examples and ratings matrixes.
Meh, Tulane has significantly improved in admissions stats, retention rate, endowment size, etc in the last 5 years. The only area we've fallen in is the 6 year grad rates, which happen to be the single most important metric in US News. If you compare us to schools ranked in the 30s we match or best them everywhere other than that one metric. Once we're beyond the retention impact of Katrina we'll shoot up. Not that it matters anyway, as we've seen drastic improvements in every area other than an arbitrary magazine ranking. I would think that the university's own performance (which can easily be judged through acceptance rate, incoming student stats, alumni giving, etc.) is more important than a magazine ranking intended to make money.

If you're who I think you are, the consensus on the Tulane board is that you're an idiot.
I've never posted on any Tulane board, so you are wrong once again.

Now I tell you what ... when I call you a "piece of shite," it's not only accurate, but it's politically correct.
Here you are, making fun of physically challenged children with Downs Syndrome.
That's despicable.
You quite clearly have an agenda in these threads, because your posts on this issue have been ill informed and factually incorrect. You also seem overly emotional, consistently throwing out inane, childish insults and rants.
I don't have time currently, but if you respond to this and continue to spew erroneous information I'll dig up the old thread on the rant and go back over how wrong you are with you once again.

I want Tulane to be in the Big XII, but I don't want OU or Texas to ever play them in New Orleans.

Look in a mirror dude. You can't stop with the bad mouthing on an LSU site

Posted by Tiger Authority How is Tulane being good in football good for the state? People on this thread are fricking stupid.
Tulane builds a stadium = construction jobs
Tulane commits to spending more on athletics = construction jobs during facility improvement, more full time employees of the athletics dept, more local companies providing services to Tulane
Tulane has 20-30k show up for games = good for business in the uptown area
Tulane draws more visiting fans = hotels, restaurants, other businesses all benefit
Tulane gets invited to a better conference = more road fans coming in
This is really not hard to see how Tulane improving their team, their athletics department, and their conference affiliation helps the state.
Allow me to teach you something that most people already know at a very young age: if you think everyone around you is wrong and they are "fricking stupid", then the problem most likely doesn't lie with them.

That said, you have made this thread unbearable. Please STFU.

New Orleans would support a winner and unlike many on this board, IMHO it wouldn't effect LSU one bit. Drama, you live uptown and are a football fan. If the Tigers were playing at a different time, would you go watch Tulane play, if they had a good ballclub, against a decent team like a Texas Tech, Kansas State or Baylor?
Posted on 10/27/11 at 6:47 pm to pttiger
If Tulane joins the Big 12 with names like K-State, Texas, TT, OU, OSU coming in they'll get some people to show up. After all you're watching some future NFL players on the other teams.
