I have a good buddy who is connected to the Big 12 and has a pretty good stake in what is going on here, so it is his job to follow all of this stuff and find out what is going on. He tells me that the latest he has heard is that A&M and OU to SEC with UT going to Big Ten or PAC 10. He also said the OU to the SEC stuff was corroborated by a radio or TV interview with Josh Heupel saying he had just received a text from OU's running backs coach saying they are headed to the SEC.

that would be the absolute best scenario possible

Once all the RB coaches sign off on it, this will get done in a hurry.

I just can't see UT letting A&M and OU do their own thing in the SEC.

You would only send one team to the East, not both. 6 in the West vs 8 in the East does not compute...

Then, you have 6 in the west and 8 in the east.

Auburn/Bama to the east only happens if we add 4 western schools.

Seems like they'd have to bring in two Eastern teams too, to balance the divisions. Who would they split up if they only add 2? Bama and Auburn?

We went through this in Chicken's thread yesterday, the SEC is bad at math. Now if he would have added Vandy to the west he would have been ok.

I'd be pleased with OU and TAMU in the west.

I think that was been disputed by Heupel.
