WV has better tradition in both sports. What has Mizzou ever done that is noteworthy? They are as bland as bland can be.

As for the Mizzou and the B1G, who knows what could happen and when? Just because they aren't calling now doesn't mean they won't in the near future, or in the coming years for that matter. Things are so unstable at this point Slive would be foolish IMO to put any faith in Mizzou sticking with us. Especially with it being public knowledge that they are foaming at the mouth to join the B1G.

Add AU and Bama to the east. You keep bama/AU, you keep AU/UGA and u keep Tenn/Bama rivalries.

Move Vandy to the west and u add Missouri ( or another western school)and A&M to the west

no more need for fixed east/west opponents. 7 team split

Let's add Mizzou, Memphish, and Clemson. That way we can have all the Tigers in one conference...

Kidding, completely.

No the biggest arguments are:

A)They are trash. What have they ever done athletically that is noteworthy?

B)They would screw us at the drop of a hat if the B1G came calling.

Search Missouri Football. Look at Missouri's record vs the SEC.lol. I laugh when people say they are trash or act like Missouri is weak in football when the school have a winning record vs SEC teams. Research before you post.

Dude, the ACC picked 2 other teams over West Virginia. Why is West Virginia being left behind and the other Big East teams are getting raided by the ACC. Something's wrong with that picture. Doubt if the SEC want a team the ACC keeps skipping over. I mean the BIG looked over Missouri and picked NU. The freakin ACC skipped West Virginia for Pitt, Syracuse, Miami and Boston College. Seesh talk about nobody wanting you.

Better tradition. Didn't half of their conference titles come from the "Southern" conference or some shite like that. Who played in the "Southern" conference during the time WVU won those titles.

BINGO!! Any reservations I had about Missouri would go out the window if they simply went to the SEC East and the SEC stayed at 14. Missouri gets Arkansas as its permanent cross division opponent so they keep a natural rival while Arky finally gets a meaningful rivalry for themselves.

BTW, you make a great point about the SEC East being as much a "Northern" division as an Eastern division. Missouri to the East wouldn't be that unreasonable when you study a map of the current SEC East. It would gaurantee the preservation of all the long time rivalries. Give up 1 non-conference game and replace it with a game against the new team in your division.
That's why you guys are taking A&M--you need some Aggies to help you figure out that Missouri belongs in the East.

Dear Lord, the East would be stacked. Terrible idea. It's got to be more balanced than that.

Permanaent cross division rivalries should just be done away with in this situation.

Add A&M to the west and WV to the east.

The play 6 division games and a home and away game cross division. Perfect schedule.
