arkansas - UGA
Ole Miss - Auburn
Miss State - USC
Vanderbilt - Kentucky
that would line the up programs by roughly equal probable strength

I think he was sayin Alabama -Miss St because they're the weakest program.
LSU should never ever ever stop playing Alabama every year. Any conference expansion plan that includes that needs to be vetoed with extreme prejudice by Alleva, et al.
And 9 games so we could see all the teams in the conference in a reasonable time period. Actually make more money because it would mean more SEC games and fewer Arkansas State games.

personally I'd rather play florida and auburn every year more than alabama - I'd take alabama too but have enjoyed the rivalry with the other two schools more

I am all for OU and A$M joining..but from a standpoint of reaching ATL got that much harder..
We play UF every year...we play Bama every year..Then we might add OU every year and A$M every year...we have AU and ARKY...then at Tenn and UGA sometimes as well as USC..
Gezz...that will be brutal...if this happens, I don't every want to hear another word about LSU playing cupcakes

Starting a thread like this makes people think that LSU is chicken shite to play against tough competition. Listen ACE, when Bama decided to have Tennessee as a permanent foe, Tennessee was actually good. All teams have their ups and downs. Take a look at LSU pre Saban. Believe it or not LSU can actually lose a game.
