I would rate that higher than the Big East but i'm not sure Big XII could steal TCU from the Big East.

Sorry, GB...Tulane is a stretch, but it does get the Big 12 into Louisiana.

Tulane gets the Big 12 into New Jersey, not LA. Maybe 7 people in LA give a shite about Tulane

Not terrible...better than current Big East, which has a automatic bid...do you think Texas would realistically consider this?

With the ACC and SEC expanding (or at least, looking to expand) and being revenue-sharing models, why would West Va sign up for that?

North/East:
Cincinnati
Louisville
Rutgers
USF
UConn
WVU

South/West:
Baylor
Iowa State
Kansas
Kansas State
Missouri
TCU

If TX bolts, Big 12 is DOA. Other conferences go to 16.

PAC - West
BIG - North/Central
SEC - South/East
ACC - East/North & South

IF TX bolts, combine left overs of Big East and Big 12 for a conference.

No, terrible.

Terrible standard. But still, not so much better that it would be worth the extra travel for WVU, USF, and Louisville to bolt the Big East for.

The Texas pres & regents really want to retain an unaltered LHN - in a big way.

Money wise, and this is all about money, they bring nothing to the table. Texas already has DFW on lockdown relative to TV. TCU is a tiny school with a tiny stadium. This has nothing to do with TCU's football success or football success in general. Hell, look at how the Big 12 is performing, if this was all about football success, the Big 12 would be considered the undisputed #2 football conference and it is closing fast on the SEC.

TCU, in a revamped Big 12, would be one of your top programs...it would most certainly help your SOS, and it would lead to better matchups, which lead to more televised games.
