Does adding FSU help UF? Why should Machen vote for it?

can actually understand UF and USCe not wanting FSU and Clemson in, especially USCe. UGA not so much.

IMO Bama and AU will vote against FSU as well, or at least they should.

Would the SEC and the fans rather 14 or 16 teams?

Neither for me, but 14 if it happens.

I understand the vote against Clemson but FSU would be a great addition. Although Florida probably doesn't want them in.

IMO we go 14, sit back and wait for the others to start making a move, then snatch up two more teams before they get started.

I'd prefer A&M, OU, Hawaii and the Puerto Rican national team.

I hope Auburn does, if we have to expand make it A&M and Va Tech

I could care less if they join or not. At least they would have to earn their Championships, instead of playing in the ACC.

look at the record of UF vs other East teams since 1992. and look at how many times UF made it to Atlanta. UF owned the East but now it'll be twice as harder to win the division if FSU joins.
bad news for UT is, we have to play FSU too. it'll be like playing UF twice every year.

Pete Thamel has been reporting on it all morning. I know, I know, he's not that great.
