I just put this together quickly.

Basically going from Ole Miss Center point in terms of mileage it's literally a 70-80 Miles difference of travel per school.

Ole Miss - 70 Miles Less than LSU - 70 Miles Less than Arkansas - 70 Miles Less than TAMU.

One thing is for certain Arkansas has crappy roads because the flights are 21% LESS mileage than the road mileage. It makes sense none of our roads are straight, ha.

I'm glad you guys are spending more than us and letting us recruit your backyard.

I personally don't see why everyone is against adding either Clemson or letting Georgia Tech back in. IMO they are about the same caliber as TAMU.

If we could add Virginia Tech then grab both Duke and North Carolina (have to keep them together) and we would have a monster football and basketball conference.

Now we're talking!! That'd be sweet way to 16!

It appears that the SEC doesn't want to add any schools in a state where it has a member school.

Georgia Tech would be a tremendous add for improving the SEC's academic image (it is the newest AAU member, invited in 2010, and in engineering and the physical sciences it has few academic equals). But it adds nothing in terms of new markets since Georgia already brings in the ATL market.

Georgia Tech

it would benefit UGA in allowing them to have an extra OOC home game since they already do a home and away with GT.

I will drive an extra hour or two each way to get to SEC venues as opposed to Big XII. No doubt about that.

Best justification yet for why we need an eastern North Carolina school (just not EZU).

My vote (Slive, are you listening?)
1) A&M
2) OU/2a) Mizzou (whichever one we can get; KC BBQ a plus)
3) UNC/3a) NCSU (ditto)
4) VT/4a) UVA (x3)
Redraw the map, elevate the whole conference, and watch the Big-9, Pac-12, B1G and ACC/BigLeast fight over the scraps.

Mizzou is farther south than West Virginia as well as farther east than A&M and Arkansas.

Vinegar BBQ tastes what I imagine piss to taste like.

Also check out Boston College on that map.

And yet no word about them leaving the Big X11 yet.

I don't blame you. I would also to experience better gameday and towns.

Va. Tech is a LOT like Texas A&M. Eerily similar.

Went up there for the LSU game way back in 2002 and it was immediately obvious (I went to several LSU/A&M games back in the day) how similar they are with the very, very strong military tradition.

Not as bad of a drive as you might think either. I drove there from Baton Rouge and once you get to Knoxville it's not a whole lot further to southwestern Virginia. Beautiful part of the country in fall.

If you take that route from CS to Lexington, you're a retard.

You do realize it's just to show how Missouri and Kentucky are fairly equal in terms of being "North" and it also shows how west CS sits.
