Does TAMU leave Big 12 no matter what?

Even if UT decides to stay put with a "10-member Big 12," what are the odds TAMU goes to the SEC anyway? The logic of the move doesn't change just because UT stays in the Big 12. It's still more money, more exposure, better games, and good for the school's football program. Why wouldn't TAMU come to the SEC?

yes, A&M is leaving to the SEC.

If Texas does leave they will piss them off by going SEC
. If Texas stays and saves the big 12, Tamu should leave and still piss them off
.
Either way they will accomplish exactly what Texas had hoped wouldn't even come up.

Ball Gravy, you seem to have some inside knowledge....care to elaborate?

I think TAMU should leave no matter what because it's a good decision for the program. That it pisses off UT, too... well that's just gravy.

I do have inside info and all I can tell you is that the A&M BOR doesn't like the PAC 16 financial model, and they have laughed at Beebee's numbers that are supposedly supposed to save the Big 12. A&M called Texas' bluff on the equal revenue sharing and Texas won't reform the Big 12 unless it can get its own network and unequal revenue sharing formula like we currently have.

IMO the SEC doesn't expand if the Pac-Whatever doesn't. So it's hard to say.

the most obvious writing on the wall to an outsider is the Utah announcement
That tells you A&M is not going.
Could all the Big 12 South teams just reverse course and stay in the Big 12? No. They would make far less money than they could in either the SEC or PAC 10
So IMO A&M is a given to the SEC and the remaining four teams in question are almost certainly headed to teh PAC - this borders on captain obvious at this point tho

oh yeah.....now with everything that has come out, I think the pac 16 will happen. I think everything we have heard is all a smoke screen to buy time to try and force Tamu to come. Now we know they aren't. Ut, Tt, Ou, Osu are going.
