I was watching PTI and they had Boeheim (sp- Cuse BBall coach) on as a guest. But when they were discussing expansion etc, they came right out and said FSU and VaTech to the SEC, buyout or whatever and that it would be A/M-Mizzou and FSU/Va Tech once it all shakes out
I am highly skeptical of any ACC teams coming, especially with the 20 million buyout. However, I could see where 2 big football schools like FSU and Tech might be getting very frustrated by the basketball heavy direction the league is going in. I hope this happens so that no existing team has to move anywhere.

there is a report of Notre Dame and the ACC hooking up. That is what lead them to say, ND would only go there if FSU/VaTech leave. Which I could certainly believe. They don't report ND to ACC as some joke, it was one of their writer buddies I would guess
I think the 20 mil is a smoke screen

I am already feeling this way, especially if AU goes. I'm fine with Mizzou coming, but only if 2 east teams are added to keep AU in the West.
I think LSU and Arkansas are the big expansion winners though. Texas just became a huge recruiting mecca for both schools and you two are no longer on the fringe Western edge of the conference.

I am not believing anything until it's final. Nothing.

Hey, any of y'all think the source of this story is Tiger Droppings.com You never know. Just saying, if I was a reporter, this would be the first place to start the hunt for leads.

another columbia college town (SC and Mizzou)
another tiger (LSU, AU, Mizzou)
another tiger team named after civil war fighters (LSU, Mizzou)
another UM (Ole Miss and Mizzou)
another AAU member (Vandy, Florida, aTm, Mizzou)
am I missing something?
For some reason, Mizzou calls themselves MU although they're The University of Missouri.

I'm assuming this is the end of the Alabama/Tennessee rivalry (unless 2 more western teams join and Alabama moves East as well).

Looks like LSU will be the West Champ or at least in the Top 5 for years to come

Probably for the same reason the University of Kansas is KU.

What the hell am I missing here? Does that not sound like A&M and Missouri to the West and Auburn to the East? Doesn't someone else have to go to the East?
I am amazed with how many people I have had to explain this to. A commodities broker from Ole Miss, a bank president from Mississippi State (neither of them surprised me) and also an associate circuit judge from Mizzou.

Also University of Oklahoma=OU
University of Colorado-=CU
University of Nebraska=NU
I think it's an old Big 8 thang

I wonder if Missouri will really be coming if as another post says Oklahoma to hold the Big 12 together if Texas gives concessions on Longhorn Network and Beebe is out ? I just dont see Missouri coming if the Big 12 stays in tact minus the Aggies. Any thoughts from anyone else on this idea?

What a shitty conference schedule UA will have. Ugh.

Forest for the trees - keep the target in sight - OU/OKSt.
Everything else is a smokescreen. Out of nowhere, AU issues an unsolicited statement saying we would have no problem moving east keeping the Al game. Message sent through the media without tampering.
OU airplane at MO & A&M the same day two weeks ago. T-Boone calls out UT. Can OU coexist with UT?
The games we play. Get ready, think Silve is about to pull the trigger.

i dont buy this for a minute. why would fsu and/or vt need to leave in order for ND to join? the conference is already talking about going to 16.
as far as ACC defectors, if anyone left i think it would be maryland and gt... to the B1G
