Well, according to this lady, their players and academics were above a move to the SEC. She said they wouldn't fit in because of that.
It was even funnier because she was obviously a housewife who had never worked a day in her life.

What's the general feeling from LSU fans/SEC land about the Aggies chanting SEC when we beat Baylor/texas at home? Do we look like wannabes since we're not technically in the conference?
Personally, I can't wait to chant S-E-C against both of those schools.

I've considered that angle as well, but here's my take on it:
I'll never go back to College Station, been there, done that - it ain't worth it. Then after a couple of games at LSU, Aggie fans will be pissing and moaning about how "classless" we are down here and how they'll never come back to Baton Rouge for a game. Problem solved. We get a half-way decent team added to the conference and we don't have to put up with their fans.
I think a lot of the SEC people who think they wantt the aggies here don't really know what an aggie is. But I think us old-timey LSU fans are used to aggies and know how to deal with them. We'll be alright.
