As an Alabama fan I NEVER thought I'd say this, but f### Auburn and the Iron Bowl. Keep the UT game instead. They caused this situation by whoring themselves out to the idea of going East and don't think for ONE second that putting Alabama in this situation wasn't a big part of it. I'm all for letting them lose the one game they absolutely live for and obsess over. I say call their bluff.

Me either. I do wish both sides would calm down a bit, but it's never been what you would call a "healthy" rivalry. There has always been hatred on both sides.

Nothing would piss me off more than seeing Auburn moving East to play all their traditional rivals while UT loses their biggest rival. Especially if Auburn wanted to do it to piss of Alabama.

It IS possible for Auburn fans to want what's best for Auburn without giving a single solitary frick as to how it affects Alabama. I don't care about the Iron Bowl... keep your game with UT. This is what Alabama and Tennessee fans have been saying until they're blue in the face. It's Auburn's desire to want to go East that LSU fans can't seem to grasp as the cause of all this chaos.
If Missouri was added to the East this would already have been made official but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Tennessee and Alabama fans are forced to give up their rivalry, LSU is forced to give up Auburn, etc because we're more worried about granting Auburn's East division desires as well as worried about Missouri having to choose between Texas A&M and Arkansas as cross division opponent.

We could easily move to the East and you keep your game with Alabama.

I don't really want to move to the East. I don't want to lose the LSU game. Sure we gain Florida and that's kinda cool and an older rivalry, but I thought Auburn and LSU had a good thing going. Plus, Baton Rouge is closer to Mobile than Gainesville.

I realize I don't speak for all AU fans. But there is a significant portion of the fan base that would be fine with moving.

The schools wants Alabama as our cross-division rival, but we aren't screaming, crying, and gnashing our teeth over it. UT is freaking out here, not AU. It's not a deal breaker one way or the other.
