WTF does this even mean? Seriously.
it means, in the grand scheme of things, no one other than Bammers and Vols give 2 shits about preserving this game

Link? Cause I don't see that anywhere. Bamas rivals are listed as UT, AUB, and LSU.

Try again

Look at the Florida gators wiki....

I don't have to try again...I do it right the first time.

North - Mizzou, Ark, V, UT, UK, USC, OM
South - TAMU, LSU, UGA, MSU, AU, UA, UF

Permanents
Mizzou - TAMU
Ark - LSU
UA - UT
OM - MSU

The rest can draw straws.

And that matters to Alabama and Tennessee because....

As I've already said, if the vote goes the way of eliminating that game, so be it...but Bama and UT don't have to vote for what they don't like.

Alabama really needs to let this Tennessee shite go. It's just not feasible with the scheduling realities that are coming.

I can see something like this being said by an LSU fan, who has no real rival. You don't just "let go" of your all-time historical rival. That was a stupid thing to say.

Everything changes.

look at the classic Zen story of the guys who fall into the whirlpool. the old guy does just fine, because he goes with the flow. the guy who fights against the current of reality, drowns.

Let Bama hold on to their blanky. Give them UTe as their permanent victim. Move along. Move along.

No shite. I am really in support of the North/South split.

Oh noes, we'd lose our annual rivalry game with TAMU.

Who gives a sheeeeeeeit....

Not me.

Are you really that stupid? Did you read the section? They are talking about the games UF and Bama have played in the SEC championship game. It even states that the two teams are not yearly rivals. Look below the surface next time.

Here is the list of rivals for that Wiki page:

Florida State Seminoles
Georgia Bulldogs
Tennessee Volunteers
LSU Tigers
Auburn Tigers
Miami Hurricanes

You mean the section headed "Rivalries"...? Which then goes on to list teams? That section? Yes I did read it...and like I said, and you are confirming even though you don't realize it, wikipedia is not the best source for what is factual.

Why is there a discussion about Fl being a rival of AU? Florida really was a Miss State until relevance knocked on the door in the 1990's.

Just accept it man, nobody hates you like we do. Trust me, its a lot of responsibility maintaining rivalries.

Read my first post in this thread. Trust me, I've already accepted it.

I have no doubt that all the other schools that constantly jab at Auburn using that ol' Bama stand-by that Auburn is Bama's "little brother" will form a line behind ya'll exactly as they are told, just like... little brothers.

And Auburn will yet again be the only SEC member with the gonads to stand up to Bama. It is what it is. Always has been.
