Per ESPN just now.
Said they talked to Gruden moments ago and there is zero chance he takes job.
Can we move on now?
Leach will be the next Miami coach and will be a great hire. I hate he will be off the market.

He won't even get an interview. Too much baggage.
OP has a major hard-on for Leach.

He makes more now than Miami could pay.
I am a big Gruden follower for years and I am telling you, he likes the attention but he was never going to Miami. Period.

Just think he is good coach and would love to have him at LSU. What baggage? The pussy kid from Texas Tech that was afraid to sit in the dark? I would hope our coach would be like that! We wouldnt have so many stupid mental mistakes all the time.

Do you know of a school willing to pay $9 million a year?
Posted on 12/1/10 at 3:01 pm to Ray Ray Rodman
that doesnt answer the question, and where do you see he asks for 9 million?

Just think Leach fits "The U" profile for a coach and just what they need to get big time recruits and back on national radar.
Besides, he is the only big time coach out there to hire at the moment. Doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

yeah, where did you see $9 million?

Leach would not even get an interview with Miami this time around

Thats what he is currently bringing in. Are you saying he will take a paycut to rebuild Miami and the stress that goes with it over a one day a week sweet gig on MNF?
Come on now, dont be stupid.

If Leach were smart, he'd go to the Big 10. IMO, his system would fit better. His offense his more fast paced than what you normally see in that conference.
Go to Minnesota and turn them around. They have a brand new stadium and the recruiting region isn't terrible.

not that it would match your like and intuition concerning Leach, but did you happen to read the Miami Herald article quoting a Miami rep. about Leach's candidacy?
