Loves this move, it's only on here you see the melt

Maybe y'all need to give the guy a chance... I wanted Jimbo/Herman/Orgeron in that order, so I'm happy

But don't act like the program is over, chill, we'll be fine. I see people mention what we were/weren't before Saban, well we still pulled him from a Big 10 school. If O doesn't work out, we'll be fine, relax.

How much does the avg everyday fan invest in LSU football? The avg everyday fan never stepped foot on LSU campus outside of a game and has no vested interest in this program.

Instead the avg everyday fan requires fans like the ones here to donate our money to a school that hired a defensive line coach and told us he was the best we could do.

Don't blow sunshine up my arse and expect me to cut you a check in the morning.

My wife (no pics) is an average everyday fan and loves the hire. Tells you all you need to know right there.

The fans who normally go out of their way to travel in for a game and spend an exorbitant amount of money on tickets hate this hire.

Exactly why you don't make emotional hires bc the players love him. Or the other guy wanted to hear another offer. It's business.

LSU is the 135th ranked university in the country tied with such prestigious universities as Ole Miss and Arkansas. Does the average fan even know or care that LSU's academic ranking is one of the worst in the SEC? When you don't demand excellence across the board, you get turned down by a lot of people you would like to see at the university and that goes for sports as well.

Well the ones I'm talking about are season ticket holders, one has a scholarship in his name, lifelong supporters of the program.

People here read this board and only see what this board says, but beware, there are a lot of fans, outside of here that love this move

They aren't all dipshits as you think, one or two may even have a better grasp on the program, it's crazy

Personally, im ok with the move, but think we could have done better. But if I was solely influenced by what I read here, I may as well jump off a bridge tonight because tiger football is done.

I would have given Herman what he wanted. Or at least used the 8 weeks head start I had to include more than 2 coaches and settle for the easy out. But hey, our coach doesn't have an accent so we should be happy

ETA: at least don't rush the hire. O want going anywhere.

Maybe not, but all reports are that alleva got his feeling hurt when he wanted to listen to Texas. At worst you drive the price up on Texas! I bet if bama, Michigan, or Ohio st wanted Herman they woulda got him....u know the top tier college football teams
