You think E would put some of Canada’s plays in his playbook?

I could only imagine how many people are going to be triggered by this.

Is that how the USC offense works?

I’m just saying, besides the jet sweeps if Etling would’ve been money against Alabama Canada would be OC right now. I was just curious to see what people would say.

The one thing Ensminger is is adaptable. If there were plays that worked that he thinks he can incorporate he will use them.

I just don’t think this is true. From what I understand things that happened were irreversible no matter the outcome of the season.

To answer your question. I am sure anything that Ensminger liked about the offense will stay.

I don't disagree with this. If we can take a realistic look at our personnel - certainly Sully can show the receivers everything in the arsenal of an NFL WR - and run a pro style, incorporating some of the best NFL pro style plays (like what New Orleans does with Brees - Brennan is a "similar" type player, although I don't want to stretch that comparison too far, one is a 18-year old kid the other is a future NFL first ballot Hall of Famer), this can be a successful, productive offense.

Like with a lot of things, though, the scheme is important - to a point. But, regardless of scheme you have to be able to do what you do expertly. A half-assed spread offense is going to get crushed by Bama, while a very proficient pro-style is going to do better, relatively speaking.

How you do anything is how you do everything. A team that executes protection schemes well, has receivers that run good routes, a QB that gets the ball out quickly, and on target, will move the ball through the air, period - the defense can limit it, but cannot completely shut down a well-executed passing attack.

Problem is - at the college level, because of the youth of the players, inexperience, physical immaturity and general "advantage" defensive athletes usually have, most can't do it. Those who can, can usually do little else.

I have no idea what to expect on offense next season. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing, but it's feels bad in this case.

So you’re saying even if Canada had beaten Alabama. He wouldn’t be Oc as of right now? To be the man you have to beat the man. And clearly Canada had some plays where we could’ve definitely beat Bama. Just bad QB play. And that’s where I criticize the fire. And I understood people’s frustrations where he would call the same play over and over.
