You still offer Jimbaw first.

Yes, Coach O is an upgrade over Les, but is an upgrade over Les a monumental feat?
Come home, Jimbaw. Aranda and Raymond will fix your defensive woes. Coach O too if he still wants to stay.

I get what you're saying, but Les was just a great recruiter that was handed the largest staffing budget in cfb and failed. O is just as good of a recruiter and motivator.
I understand how outrageous it seems by just looking at records, but I think O knows as much about football than Les. Maybe if Jarrett Lee had not mind fricked Les' offensive philosophy in 2008, I'd take the previous statement back.
Anyway, O isn't even my first choice, but if he's hired and fails he'll still leave the program with a loaded roster for the next guy. Again I think absolutely offer Jimbo and Herman first, but I'm skeptical you offer someone like Gundy and fedora over O.
Honestly I wish Les had been canned next year, so we could have gotten Chad Morris. I've said on here for years he was going to turn SMU around and be a huge hire. His Texas ties are insane, and his offense is fun to watch.

Jimbo's team was an unmitigated, undisciplined disaster tonight. Don't see why any of you want that guy back!

That's such horrible reasoning for not offering a top 10 coach

None of these guys O, Jimbaw, and Herman are an upgrade. You usually win the ACC by beating one team with an over 50-50 record. Houston has a flag football offense that can't work when they play anyone with moderately trained DB's. And CEO? Well... I guess he has a cajun accent? Beat some nobodys so far. Lets see what happens when we play a decent SEC team.
