they have inside information into how negotiations are going in Houston with Tom Herman pon the same day LSU has a game?

Exactly. I'll buy that they're potentially meeting with Herman, but if it's Herman, I seriously doubt negotiations at this point are falling apart.

What I believe is that talks between LSU and Jimbo have stalled and LSU is switching focus to Herman. I do believe that.
But some have interpreted that into thinking that Herman's coming to LSU. All I believe is that LSU is pursuing him, only one that knows what Herman will do is Herman. It's all on him right now, he has the leverage, not LSU or Texas.
The longer this goes on though, the greater the chances that LSU ends up with their third or fourth option. If there is not breaking news of Herman/Jimbo agreeing to terms with LSU by Saturday, then we've lost both of them IMO.
