It was infuriating.
When people say “we had to settle on O” they forget how much Alleva wanted O. He was not our last option. He was like our second option

He refused to do a goddamm search.
Hell, even without a search they had Aranda on the staff as AHC and people still fell for the "one of us" motivated logic that Orgeron was the only one on staff who could be interim HC.
