No, "we" don't......

then who does?

you dont think his salary trickles down into ticket sales? TAF donations?

you think it's 4 or 5 fat cats up on the hill absorbing 95% of his salary, and only they have to be satisfied with the work done with their money?

to all who want Les fired for having an 8 win or 9 win season, you should have to endure a little of the Curly Hallman era. 8 or 9 wins then we would have thought we were in heaven.

No flame intended but this is not a good comparison..why..ticket prices, surcharges, coaches salaries, concession prices, parking fees, all the extra money we put out means we expect more for our $$$. Hallman was paid chump-change in comparison to today.

I mean I could talk to someone there and say I'm a close friend of the family he's going to Michigan and they'd run with it.

I live just a few minutes from Miles' house, so I am technically a source close to Miles. I am convinced I could call Joe Schad and tell him something that would hit the airwaves.

Agreed! When did the vocal portion of the fan base turn into such elitists? The stench of entitlement escaping from flapping jaws here is overwhelming.

I don't think anyone is saying that he should be fired if that happens every once in awhile, but when it becomes the norm (like 3 out of 4 years or so) then it needs to be considered.

Agreed there.

The problem stands with the people that expect down years + attrition not to happen. It happens everywhere and think it shouldn't happen at LSU.

You just have to accept that it will eventually happen again. Fans just can't act as if it's the end of the program and it's on a slide. College football is cyclical. Just gotta beat it into fans thick skulls that don't seem to understand that.

I hope Alleva tells him to take his arse to UM. The rollover shouldn't even be in the discussion for 8 wins, and if we win 8 games with the schedule and talent we play in two consecutive years, he should be fired.

Man I hope he leaves. This is ridiculous. I will NEVER support Les Miles.

I've lost total respect for him.

If Les wants a stipulation in his contract that states he can't be fired as long as he wins eight a year than I say let him go.

Because how exactly do you put this in a contract?
Extend the contract to 6 years now (he has 4 years left; Mich is reportedly offering 7 years) with a provision for an auto extend +1 year with every 9+ win season.
