Because I'd like to trade him for a Frocked Stump Smash Skylander. $100 value.

The problem is you won't get a decent coach to replace him. MizzouKills coaches' careers.

I haven't even thought about this. Who would Mizzou go after?

I don't intend to sound like a dick, but GP is doing pretty good for the first year in the SEC. As you can tell, they "style" of ball is quite a bit different than the Big 12. Let the guy recruit, and give him at least another year - my guess is you'll be happy.

I'm one who thinks Pinkel is a very solid HC as well. It's going to take a little adjustment, but he'll figure it out

This ain't going to happen, GP has earned a couple of seasons to adjust to old man football. I could see him retiring after next year though.

My vote would be for Charlie Strong.

If you were to grade your own Defense - what grade would you assign? Charlie Strong would likely add at least 2 letter grades to that

Blackn,

We actually have one of the better defenses in the league this year.

We just don't have an offense, which means that our defense is gassed by the 4th quarter because they've played the entire game without rest.

True story.

It's hard to give them a solid grade. I think they are pretty stout, but the offense is so inept at times, that it results in the defense being on the field too long. Then they get tired, then they suck.

Based on that, I'd give them a C, but with better play calling on offense they could get a B. You're right about CS, he would bring some D to CoMo. Plus he's got strong SEC ties.

frick that! I give them an A+. How can you possibly ask for anymore from a defense when the offense gives zero effort and spends the entire game going 3 and out?

A+

In that case, perhaps a more offensive minded coach would better suit your needs. Seriously, you guys pulled DGB - you're on your way to a pretty damn solid O. Your O line is getting good experience this year.

Now, if he tells the press to "smile" - pull the fricking plug as fast as you can

This is true! Our O line is mostly freshmen and now they have more experience in this shitty year than they would've in four years in the Big 12!

I'm excited for the future.

Am I having an honest and cordial discussion with a piggy?

Speaking of Johnelle. Who's on your short list for Arky? And who do you think is interested?

My short list would be Gundy or Patterson. There's smoke right now for Patterson, which means, he may no longer be a candidate
