Riley locked, Riley not, Tucker main man, Jimbo is the target, Franklin high on list, Napier being considered, Possibly going for a NFL HC, Aranda is the guy get him or get beat by him. Don't rule out Rhule, WHITE WHALE!!!

This is the baseball search 2.0. I’m not saying it can’t be Riley but I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he ended up making an excellent hire out of left field that isn’t being discussed at all.

Yes, he did what we all expected him to do, make the big names say no. If Riley says no I’m gonna stay, then expect him to throw those “tier” 2 guys like 6-8 million a year

I don’t think anyone is remotely close to who the tier 1 and tier 2 guys are though. I think there are way, way more names on the list than Napier, Aranda, Campbell, etc. based on the baseball search. It’s like posters on TD make up a list of guys then the media runs with it

I agree. Who knows if there are anymore tier 1 guys he wants besides Riley, fisher, Mel, or Franklin. But he if he doesn’t get who he initially wants he won’t lose a solid tier 2 guy.
