I do think that he's happy in Baton Rouge and wants to succeed Hatch, who is also based in Baton Rouge. Hatch is a person that Moffitt looks up to, and also has a formal relationship with the university.

Gayle Hatch used to be on of the best kept secret weapons of LSU, particularly the Track and Field teams, where players would come to LSU just to have the opportunity to hire Hatch as a private strength coach.

Moffit is a monster. I remember how intense he was when he was the coach at John Curtis. We can thank Moffit for all of those 4th quarter wins this year. I hope he stays for a long long time.
