Funny how all Bama fans think Saban is there for good. I'd be willing to bet a ton of money that he's not there in 5 years (5 years becauase that's a sure bet - probably 3 would be a safe bet). Is he an Alabama boy? Hell no. What does he have in common with Alabama culture? Nothing! Enjoy him while you can Gumps.

Yeah, that cat doesn't even want anything paraphrased from his site. Oh well.

Nd can't afford 8 million for a coach. Are you fricking nuts?
Am I nuts??? ND has the deepest pockets of any school. They have a national TV contract with NBC and they don't have to share a dime of that revenue or any bowl revenue with any other teams.

Tthe same reason Urban Meyer won't go there: can't recruit the types of players they need to have an elite team. And ND isn't going to budge even a little on its admissions standards.
ND had he #2 ranked class in 2009. If Weiss can do that, Saban could do it every year.

I'm still not convinced he doesn't give the NFL one more go
I think he burned his bridges there. He stabbed Mike Shula in the back while working for the Dolphins. And he left the NFL as a coward and a quitter.

If ND hasn't hired anyone up to the day of the NC, then I'm thinking someone should be looking for Jimmy Sexton in the South Bend area.

He isn't circumsized.

Saban to ND would make sense. His ego would drive him there. If he coaches at ND and has them competing at the level I think he would...he would be the 2nd coming. Walking on water. Turning water into wine.

Saban is about as loyal as Hitler

Sabans way is more suited for the Irish than Meyers.
