That state pension people keep bringing up isnt suppose to be much. Its only like $60k. No one is gonna turn down Pelini money for a $60k a year option

Steele left LSU to get fully vested in the Alabama retirement system. He has done a solid job running Auburns defense.

I mean, if we hired someone as DC that coaches DL, you could easily bring in Steele (if he is willing) as a LBer coach. He could still get paid his Auburn buyout, LSU is on the hook for less money, gets a great LBer coach and still gets a less stressful job and can mentor the new guy .

It wouldn't be the worst scenario.

To go from thinking freeman was coming to ending up with Steele. What a kick in the nuts that would be.

Yea, that's not true. Maximum Monthly Benefit = Average Final Salary x Years of Creditable Service x Benefit Factor ÷ 12

The average final salary is the average of the highest three annual salaries that you earned within your final 10 years of work.



I agree that it's not Pelini money, but it's not chump change either.
