Starting multiple deflection threads about Gus isn't going to make him leave.

I agree with you.
Plus, he's beat Saban the last two times he faced him.
Saban was a smoke screen for their real target. Cheaper and better results head to head.

They are desperate to take their mind off of thinking of Saban leaving. They know it's still possible, if not likely.

This is my only thread. I posted logic and common sense. I doubt Texas wants him but I would think he would want them. Just an opinion.

BOL must have emailed orders to all their followers last night.

Gus left Ark and Auburn because the head coach interfered in his offense. Like Saban, his system requires total control. If he goes to Texas and does his mad scientist offensive experiments he will get interference from rich booster know it alls. He knows life is too short to put up with a*holes.

Why would Texas be interested in Gus? What is his track record as HC at a major program?

I'm sure he would be interested if the circumstances were different. UT is a great job, but he's not leaving when he has AU playing in the BCS Championship in 3 weeks and also returning a bulk of this team next year.

Thank you for an intelligent response. That is very logical and thought out.

Oh, he makes the list, I'm sure.
He will attract good DC's, too, b/c his offense controls the ball on the ground.
The QB's that run his offense will not likely be the best pocket passers, and in the SEC, I might be more concerned about him staying healthy, but in the Big 12, not so much.
Honestly, I would expect LSU's spread at Auburn to be very close to the one at home for Bama next year, if Malzahn stays at Auburn.

The Saban interest in the TX job was floated earlier this year by his agent.
Malzahn's interest came from his own mouth.
Why would you be so defensive about it? I'm truly not flaming here.

SI article this year, no?
I swear I'm not making this up.
Heard it quoted somewhere on TV.
Not recently, but during the season.

Every question seems shitting when the reader has a low IQ.
I never said I knew him and never said he had interest. I just asked a logical question of why would he not be interested. Flame if you want be just don't be so paranoid.

Wrong. The Texas folks contacted Sexton and not the other way around. The Texas folks never released the email from Sexton. Saban has always said he was not interested.
