Woodward reached out to Jimbo this summer. That spawned a contract extension and raise.

When you realized Jimbo didn't have a buyout in his contract what did you chalk it up to? It's a sincere question.

I'm not making anything up, this is my only post on the LSU search.
I used to work for LSU athletic dept, got a haircut today saw someone I knew who worked for TAF. That's what he told me said its not a done deal my Jimbo wants the job, and I believe him. I wish he was wrong Jimbo isn't my first choice. In fact the guy who told me this prefers Aranda

A&M can match or make a higher offer than LSU, Woodward(y’all lean on this too much, they aren’t best friends), recruiting LA just fine right now plus he has Texas, UT is a dumpster fire, and if he has such an affinity for LSU why has he turned it down twice already?

The whole point of all this is because it's not necessarily about money for him, he's always wanted to be HC of LSU, he's much more likely to win a NC at LSU, he's also never turned down LSU, College Station is not where that man wants to retire, for obvious reasons.

It’s already been decided and I really think it was the plan all along for Woodward
He set it up so that Jimbo could leave on his own but firing him would be costly
Woodward knew that he was leaving atm for LSU when he hired Jimbo and planned to tap Jimbo for the LSU job when the time was right
Jimbo is the guy and he will be for many years
