he is in the Top 2 of the Big 12 almost every year and has a stranglehold on Oklahoma and parts of Texas in recruting...

In the SEC at UF, he would be competing for recruits with an up and coming FSU and Da U, Georgia, Tennessee, LSU, Alabama among others...

while the profile is higher, what could be do there that he couldn't at Okie??

better recruiting base, more money, better conference, 1st(or 2nd if Saban wins) coach to ever win a NC at 2 different schools, Florida >>>>>>> Oklahoma, etc...

How about because Oklahoma is in the state of Oklahoma and Florida is in Florida?

I doubt he'll go. Why would he want to follow a legend at Florida, especially since Meyer will be there looking over his shoulder? You never want to be the guy who follows "the" guy.

if location and available talent pool is the determining factor, then why isn't UC San Diego the top program in the US???

I'm talking tradition, recruting...the whole she-bang...

UF is a creation of the past 20 years....they were HORRIBLE until Spurrier.....

FSU and Miami being down at the same time led to UF having such great classes..

FSU and Miami are coming back sooo why would Stoops want to fight that, SEC teams in recruiting and an SEC schedule??
