I'm with you on that somewhat. LOL! We are always a bit unsure of how we're going to play with Les at the helm but he wins some big games and then loses some we shouldn't lose. Never boring that's for sure. I was also afraid of who they might try to hire if Les did go to Michigan. You never know if it's going to be a proven guy or someone who's winning at a small school that they can get for less money.

I'm glad he's staying for the talent that we have and the talent we have coming in. We "should" be able to have some terrific seasons to come. Now, let's move on from Crowton!! Here's to winning another national championship asap!!!

It's the conundrum of the "negatiger." I'm with you on this one. And I can go on the record and say I'm happy Miles is staying for a few reasons. The college football landscape looks good for an LSU run to an SEC and possible national championship. Alabama will be a bit better on defense, but they'll be losing their starting QB. Cam Newton will leave for the NFL before classes start this Spring and Auburn (and their already shitty defense) will suck again. Arkansas loses their starting QB. Mississippi State will be better, but will still be Mississippi State. Ole Miss will continiue to be Ole Miss. Florida will be transitioning. It all makes for a nice landscape for LSU. We lose Patrick Peterson and Nevis to the draft, but we're young and deep at all areas of defense. Our offense, which generally sucks, should be its least suckiest with two senior QB's who've seen a lot of SEC action from the field and the bench. So, in summation, I'd rather not start next year with a new coaching staff. Otherwise, I'd be fine with Les leaving if that's what he felt he needed to do.

Plus, there's not a lot of coaches on the market (or off the market) that I'm interested in (except for maybe Patterson). Everyone else is either unproven as a head coach of a big program, is no better than Miles, or is washed up. Alleva is unproven as a person who makes great hires...and the fact that the LSU administration is historically Joe Dean fricking awful at making good hires. All of this makes me happy that Miles isn't leaving this year.
