I had that same problem when Dinardo was the coach. It's embarrassing when we would get approached for autographs while trying to enjoy our steak at Applebees.

Strong, Mullen and Malzahn (also Pelini) were is the same spot as Chavis is today. They are all sucessful coordinators who did not have a reputation for being a recruiter. All have coordinated a national title (except Malzahn for about 7 more hours).

Chavis isn't getting interviews for a similar reason that Strong didn't.

if chavis becomes head coach will our offense convert 3rd and longs like his d gives up?
