In the sec being a great coach and poor recruiter gets you 8-4 or 9-3 with an occasional great year when you team is full of vets.

You have to be top 10 minimum recruiting classes to win the SEC. Moreso fringe top 5

NAIA has the same relevance as high school football. Honestly, maybe less.

It’s apples to rhinos comparing it to D1 football.

Yeah good point my dear buddy and I were agreeing earlier today that we feel Kelly can out-recruit this fricker year in and year out, and that’s about all we’re concerned with on this matter.

I guess the idea is NIL and Saban residual will make up for his lack of any recruiting chops whatsoever.

The bama brand will recruit itself for 3-4 years. You start going 8-4/9-3, all bets are off.

UGA has already filled that vacuum to some degree. Others will follow.

It's all about winning.

The chances of hiring a coach that's already won an NC are slim to none. Like, you can count on 1 hand how many times it's happened in the history of college football.

"Won an NC" is not the qualifier for a spectacular hire

Brian Kelly had about as high level of a resume as ANY school could ever hope to hire.

Y'all dumb
