Why is our admin/staff so hung up on Ensminger?

We keep hearing he’s a candidate, and would be co-OC if we bring another guy in. What gives? Not sure what he’s shown that makes it so necessary for him to control the offense

O is convinced that his interim year’s offense was great with SE. Forget that we didn’t score on defenses with a pulse.

He's part of the inner circle who led the coup against Miles so is indebted to him and trusts him not to sell him out like Canada (justifiably) did.

I guess they can look at last year and block 125 total yards of offense against Alabama at home completely out of their mind.
If that game did not happen, or they could have ignored it last year, he may have got the OC job then.

Well O will be fired next year if he screws this thing up so I guess a reteirment is better than saying you weren’t retained by the new coach
