O thinks the offense is too complicated causing penalties. Wanted to tone it down. Canada said no.

here I can agree with O- if the staff doesn't get it then the team won't get it

Attitude. Seems to be an issue with Canada at previous spots also

Conflict is on the leader, particularly with employees the leader selected rather than inherited.

If attitude was such a problem, how did Canada stay so long at some of his stops, being retained by replacement coaches, being brought back to a 2 different universities he previously coached at, and being rehired by another coach he previously coached under.

I’m not sold on Canada being the problem (though his results left me disappointed). I think most indicators point to O being the problem.

Wow. This almost mirrors what was said about Grantham and his defensive schemes when he came in at UGA.

I think it's mostly about results. I know there were some positives from the offense this year, but if anyone takes a step back, I think we can all agree that we didn't get the results that we expected at this time a year ago. Aspects of the offense worked and aspects of it looked hokie (motioning a guy across the formation 3 times, for example).

Anyway, I know excuses can be made for why the offense didn't live up to our expectations, but the bottom line is this is a results oriented business and the results simply weren't there.

I think if the offense would have been prolific, Orgeron and Canada would have put the personality differences aside. It just wasn't a good fit apparently, and Orgeron knows that he doesn't have a lot of time to get this thing turned around. Also, in any venture, when something's not working, it's always better to identify there's an issue and make changes swiftly rather than delay a decision and let it linger.

No, it was a reference to Canada’s past. A head coach that previously hired him as OC in 2011, hired him again as OC at that head coach’s next stop.
