Beamer just doesn’t look like a program building guy. He also makes terrible hiring decisions

It’s weird. Some of our fans are bigger supporters of Beamer than they are the Gamecocks. It will take another losing season next year before they start to come around that he’s just not a good coach.
He needs to make big changes to his staff this off-season to at least show he’s serious about winning, but I’m very skeptical he’ll do the full overhaul that is needed because he’s too loyal like his dad.
We can’t have another coaching search under Ray Tanner, though. He’s the worst AD and he should’ve been fired years ago.

Coaching The Dirt Peckers is pretty much a mulligan because with the exception of the old ball sack's brief stay, chicken tech is just a training ground.

Rattler is the best QB they will have. Beamer is such a goofy bastard and is not cut out to be a head coach. I bet they win 3-4 next year and he’s gone.

Which sucks because LaNorris Sellers has the ability to be a very good college QB, but Beamer is tying him to Dowell Loggains so that ability will sadly never be realized.
Beamer’s ardent supporters will point to his HS recruiting as his strength, but in reality it’s hardly better than Muschamp and our roster is filled with holes that this incoming class doesn’t address. Next year isn’t somehow going to be magically better like they’re hoping.

Beamer isn't it, but realistically, USC has no choice but to be patient. As has been mentioned, you can't afford another search under Simple Ray. He'll screw that up, too.
This team is painfully thin due to injuries, but worse, it is devoid of talent outside of QB and one WR. We've also squandered NIL funds on two WRs who 1) didn't even play, and 2) can't catch. Roster and cap management is beyond Shane.
There's no right answer at the moment. The fans showed out, and were ready to take over last night. But holy shite, that's the most inept I've ever seen a football team, against a painfully mediocre Clemtech squad.
Need a new AD before anything else.

Y’all’s OL is so horrific. There’s some players at WR but Rattler doesn’t have time to get them the ball vs any DL with a pulse.

Almost the entire starting 5 is hurt, and has been out at various times throughout the season. One thing that is saving Beamer right now is that this is an area he's been very strong with recruitment.
Defensive line, on the other hand, is an issue. But I like our coach on that side much better than our OL guy.
The long and short of it is that Beamer really needs to pattern himself after Dabo. Truly. He has to hire top-flight assistants. Unfortunately, he hasn't delivered on that premise, and has a ton of deadweight on his coaching staff. His RB coach, for example, is a disaster who can't recruit.
Beamer also lacks the humility required to be good enough to hire those smarter than he is. That's part of the reason he has stood pat at DC, when he could/should go after the Geoff Collins and DJ Durkins of the world. He won't do it, though.
