UCF is better than any dead end p5 job. He can go to Mizzou and be fired in 3 years or win a championship at UCF next year and have any job he wants. Easy choice

Not this year. This team’s online fanbase is the worst collection of attention seeking dregs imaginable. I’m so glad LSU took them down last year before they started losing to just anybody again.

Because LSU, Alabama, and other fans are so cool online. People hate winners, I get it.

Josh left in a d-baggery way, and stole the OL coach in an even bigger d-baggery way.

Plus, why leave UCF? He has a hot bed of recruiting all around him, facilities, and way easy spot to get to a New Years bowl game.

And, you can claim fictitious titles at UCF

Haven’t but have heard Fickell - that would make sense

Fickell is the next coach at tOSU. He ain’t going to Missouri. I don’t understand why people don’t see this.

I mean, maybe his is but that doesn’t mean he’s going to stay at Cincinnati until then. Ohio St likely isn’t going to come open for a VERY long time. Day is only 40

Unless Day has a heart attack, gets cancer, or gets busted for drug smuggling, Fickell is going to be waiting a long time for that opportunity. You think he is going to turn down 4 million from an SEC school so he can stay at Cincinnati and make 2.4? Nah.

Idk about Fickell, everything we’ve heard about this search is they want an offensive guy.

He might as well. Cincy is ok, but that OSU job isn’t going to be available for a while. He might as well move up the ladder in the meantime.

What if Day goes to the NFL? Anyone know if he has interest?

I think that would be a terrible mistake.

I have heard Fickell being tied to the Michigan State job when it opens. That can't be too long of a wait.

You think he will retire after the bowl? Rumor is they won’t fire him.

Day to the NFL is likely. Fickell to tOSU. He isn’t taking Missouri. He might take Mich or Mich St.

Look, I don't know where Fickell goes but Day isn't heading to the NFL after one year. Not after being handed an CUM lead program with coaches and recruits, built to compete for a NC - not happening.
