Why do people assume he wants the LSU job? He'll get fired the first time he loses a game.

GTFO piggy do you think Miles was fired for losing?
long overdue, fans are tired of seeing this shitshow,5+ million these days only buys mediocrity? i am convinced 130 other d1 coaches could do better, given same talent

Again, LSU will rue the day they fired the winningest coach in program history midseason because they were tired of settling for "mediocrity."

But they wouldn't have the same talent. Miles is an elite recruiter who surrounded himself with elite recruiters. That's his biggest asset as a coach so I laugh when people say "but we could do better with all this talent!"

And this is EXACTLY why this narrative is taken as fact.

You don't know Tom Herman, you don't know what he wants or what is preferences are, but you think because YOU can come up with a logical Argument that there fore it is true.

Texas is arguably the best job in CFB, certainly 1 of the top 5, so it is logical to conclude that most college coaches that aspire to big time jobs would be interested.

Also, he went to grad school there, and has expressed an affinity for it.
