Why can’t we just hire Freeze?

Regardless of how people feel about the man personally he is an outstanding football coach and recruiter. Why doesn’t he deserve a 2nd chance?

Such a shame. If they can allow the likes of Lane Kiffin and Ed Orgeron to roam the sidelines then Freeze should be allowed back in. Mainly because I think he could be extremely successful at LSU. Offensively, I don’t see a huge gap between Hugh and Riley, and Freeze comes with a much smaller price tag. Again, just my personal opinion.

Does Freeze have a show cause in the SEC? Legitimate question. I thought there was an issue. And Woody wouldn't look at him.

He is stilll wayyyyyy to hot! He had super dirty recruiting at ole miss then had prostitutes all while acting like a preacher! He is a great coach but sketchy as gas station sushi

I remember there being a lot of talk about bringing him on at least as an analyst, maybe an OC, but A) most were convinced Alabama was going to get him first, and B) in the end no one brought him on because of the prevailing theory that the SEC wouldn't allow it.

I’m not sure about that TBH? I’d assume he more than likely is still getting the cold shoulder by the league. I fully agree the man needed punished for his actions but I also believe folks can change for the better. Above all though I want to see us dominant on the football field again. There’s no way anyone can discredit his on the field products. Liberty for gods sake is a winner b/c of him. That alone is almost miraculous.

It’s pretty simple.
1. He got Ole Miss on probation
2. He is a morally bankrupt, self righteous piece of garbage
3. He is a very stupid man. He got busted using his work phone to call hookers because he tried to blame NCAA violations on Houston Nutt

1) Hugh Freeze doesn’t have a show cause. But you’ll have to explain to Sankey why you want to hire Freeze.
2) Freeze’s offense are equally effective as any candidate out there.
3) Freeze plays complimentary football. Liberty has a strong D (relative) and the 2014 Ole Miss D was very very good.
4) Freeze can recruit.
5) Ole Miss was doing everything it could to stand by Freeze despite the recruiting sanctions. That’s how good he is. It wasn’t until the phone calls surfaced that they had to part ways.
