Why can’t LSU be fine with Freeze if “high character” Miles is?

Les probably feels he could reign Freeze in on the recruiting trail. Would you trust O to have the integrity to do that?

Someone made a great point. Alleva, Coach O and Ponamsky all have baggage.

Miles is throwing Freezes name out there, knowing that teams won't sign off on him so that they won't hire him and he still gets his name out there for the buyout.

The UT disaster in the age of #metoo (Penn State was different) is scaring a lot of ADs. I would love to have Freeze or Briles offenses, but the enormous PR risks for hiding rape and buying hookers from an OC could backfire wildly.

That was about football. The Penn State thing was simple a vehicle to oppose the hire by the fan base.

Miles might be desperate for the right person and worry about the baggage later. I think he wants to prove something first is getting back into the game and second he knows his stubbornness got him let go. Freeze would be a good hire for Les. If the job is offered. Would be nice to stop his checks and apply them elsewhere.
