Who was the bigger hire?

Talk today was how LR leaving OU for USC was something never seen in college football. Now that LSU is hiring the winningest coach from the most prestigious school in college football history, who had the most historical hire. Forget who you think is the better hire, which hire would you think would’ve never happened? I think they are on par with one another

Our hire. It is the first time another school hired a coach away from Notre Dame, or at least the first since WWII.
Kelly has been to the CFP. Now we get to see what he can do with more recruiting options and better facilities.
