Who thinks Miles would be a better coach at Meechigan

for being in the SEC?
Think about it. got exposed to complex defenses here, a faster game, tougher competition, etc and he achieved some degree of success. How much of the SEC would he take to Meechigan with him if he did indeed go there?

Honestly, Miles would do a great job at Michigan.

first step is getting a fast fg kicker/punter combo.

put it this way, I don't think you'd see him hire the type of staff he had at OSU (Bill Clay anyone?).

He likes eating grass, just imagine how much he likes smoking it.

I'll just say Miles is a better FIT at Michigan than he is at LSU and barring another crystal football and completely pwning Saban every year, LSU fans will never fully accept him.

I would honestly cheer for Michigan really hard if Miles went there.
I honestly love the guy and hope he retires at LSU.

Not exactly. He would need 3 or 4 years.
Nebraska, Wisconsin, State Penn, The Ohio State, and apparently even Mich State are all rolling now.
There are not enough high end players in Michigan. He will have to recruit Ohio, and Western Pa vs sweater boy and Joe Pa.
He may even fly back and recruit West Monroe, D-FW, Houston, BR, L.C.

I do. I think the lower half of the SEC is tougher than the lower half of the big ten. There are more gimmes in the big ten. He plays MSU and Ohio State every year in the big ten and regularly plays Nebraska, Penn State, Wisc and Iowa. Honestly he'd have on average 2-3 tough games in the big ten and 5-6 easy wins. I can see him going 6-2 at the worst and 7-1 on average in league play and making the big ten title game. I honestly think 12-0 is more easily gotten in the big ten than sec. The only OOC that is tough is Notre Dame.

First, Miles is a great recruiter. Second, he is now well known throughout the south, so he would be recruiting in places Big 10 schools could only dream about.
Finally, give him three years, and he would be kicking arse with the best recruits from the north and south.

Does Miles actually recruit or does he just act as closer? As a family man how would he spend all that time on the road recruiting La,Tex, and Fl.

Miles would fit in perfectly in the Big 10 (or 11 or 12, whatever they are these days).
I was talking to an Ohio State fan the other day, and he was complaining about Tressel getting a big lead against Arky and then letting his foot off the pedal and letting the Hogs get back into the game and almost win. I told him that if Miles were to go to Michigan, they could have some epic games down the road, because Miles does the exact same thing. FWIW ... he told me he DID NOT want to see Miles at Michigan
