I am 99.9999% sure that he will make a change. But, my concern with keeping them through the bowl game is, they somehow put a gameplan together that totally shuts down GT, and LM says see, our defense IS pretty good. He's already made comments like, the D played good, you take away 51 points, 5 plays.........

I do think Miles has made a decision. I just don't think Miles will let the coach that he wants slip away. Who wouldn't want to coach at LSU? They just won the championship last year and are full of talent. Koenning went to Kansas State, his alma mater. I read that he was getting impatient. Maybe Miles wanted to keep him around until the person he truly wanted gave him an answer or maybe he told him that he wouldn't hire him. Maybe Miles wanted to interview more people to make the right decision and VK wanted an answer quickly or he was going to K ST. I don't know. I think Les will wait until after the bowl game to announce the new DC though. I bet it is a coach who is in a bowl game. He wants to let his coaches find other jobs (respectable) before they are fired and maybe he doesn't want to distract the guy from his concentrating on his team's bowl game. I think Les will make the right decision this time. I have a feeling that the person he wanted last year may have said no and he just decided to keep it in house. This time he won't make that mistake. However, I would not be surprised to see Mallory or Peveto back next year as position coaches. They did well under Pelini, but were over their heads as DCs in the SEC.

Yes
To hire some new coaches, up to and including a new DC. He is in the hiring process. You know, like interviewing multiple candidates, looking at credentials, letting them make decisions, discuss it with their families, waiting for answers; all the while taking care of other business like recruiting a #1 class thus far. Geez, he's not replacing the fry cook at McDonalds, it takes a while to find the best person. I would think people would be happy he's not rushing into it.

Yes, when things are this quiet on the Bayou it means a decision has already been made. I'm thinking an NFL coach will join us.

If that is the case then it wouldn't be Robinson, Chavis, or Walker.

That being said:

I think he has narrowed it down to about 2 people that will replace the Malveto scheme.

It's not a coach in a bowl game... Miles is waiting until after the bowl. It's Walker along with Ogeron.

I said this last week and got bashed for it. I think He's picked a guy and keeping it under wraps. Waiting until after bowl season to announce. Mainly bc he doesnt want it to be a distraction to the team, plus the guy he has lined up is currently coaching his team for their bowl game. But I was called a "frickIN MORON" for thinkin such a thing

If its not a coach currently in a bowl game then most likely a NFL assistant. But Yes, He has a guy lined up already
