Based on what I've read...looks like Pendergast is more lucrative, Shoop is established, but not a huge name.

Seriously BHP? I'm a little high, but you couldn't decipher the context?

X
The little research I did on Shoop looked promising. I just know everyone was gushing over Pendergast. Don't know much about either

Give me Shoop

PSU was below average last year on D, and he turned them around to No. 2 in the country.

Then at Vandy, VANDERBILT, he produced top-20 defenses on a yearly basis. VANDERBILT.

Agreed. The more I read about Shoop, the more he looks like Patterson at TCU or Petersen at Boise (maybe even better).
Pendergast would be my second (realistic) choice at this point.
Appointing Brick to DC would be about as bad as if..LSU .. took their DL coach, who produced the lowest number of sacks in 15 years, no elite DL players (at an elite DL school), missed out on several players that he was considered the favorite for, and failed to develop a single one of the players he did successfully recruit, and then gave him a raise and the keys to the entire defense.

It's amazing just how unfunny, unoriginal and overall childish this site has become. I asked a simple question.. who was a seemingly better hire.
