It doesn't matter if they could dig up Vince Lombardi and take him to Dallas. "JERRY JONES IS TOO MUCH OF A CONTROL FREAK" to let the coaches coach. I hate The Cowboys with a passion, but if he had let Jimmy Johnson alone and let him run the team, there is no telling how many more titles old Helmet hair would have won. Jones is an Al Davis wannabe, with one exception. At least Al had coached and knew football before his mind got bad. Dallas will never win anything again as long as Jerry Jones is involved.

Even if Parcells was lured away by money, that would be the exception. Like someone earlier said, NFL teams don't make a habit of stealing head coaches away from each other. The NFL owners are ultimately a business partnership and tend to extend each other the professional courtesy of not doing this.

the summary is basically they asked him about an NFL job and he said he loves his job now but he had a special time in Dallas and really enjoyed working there, etc..

Plus it's pretty well known how much he would want the Dallas job.
