The prospects for his replacement are so incredible that I'm not sure it's possible to not be excited.

Or on the flip side, we get a coach that does Less than Les. There is a better chance of this happening .

all I have to say is...we've been down this road before, don't get too worked up into a frenzy and be let down when a lesser known coach is announced.

How can LSU do better than the past three years ? In the total History of LSU football, there has not been a better 3 years.

IMO, this was done in spite of the head coach not because of the head coach.

Yes, I am ready to move on to another coach.

So Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Auburn, and Arkansas all had 4 first round draft picks last year? Damn, that's strong.

Florida had 9 players drafted, we had 5. In addition, the Leak/Tebow combo gave Florida a more effective QB situation compared to LSU, even though JR went #1.

Count me in. Thanks to Les for keeping the cupboards well stocked...now let's get a kick-arse coach who'll bring home another crystal football.

Or two. Or three. :nana: :nana:

I would not celebrate until you see Les at a Michigan press conference, just saying.

You may wake up one day next week very disappointed.

I'm looking forward to the actual coaching search a whole helluva lot. It's nice to know that we actually will be the most desirable job on the market this year BY FAR.

he had the team and they didn't do it. Big difference. I guess you all think that Bowden should have been fired after all those years of finishing in the top 5, but "wide right" keeping them from being number one. There are so many idiots who do not understand how college football works. If you finish top 5 every year, you are eventually going to win it all. That is the pattern. And this will likely be the 10th different BCS champion in the 10 years of it's existence. shite is hard to win. Especially in the SEC who everybody touts as being the hardest conference in the country by far.

Totally agree.. It amazes me that people think that in this age of CFB that any school can just show up and win the BCS. LSU has been on an amazing run, and unfortunately LSU fans think that they are going to stockpile BCS trophies.

Not going to happen at any school...

Anyone who does not appreciate everything Miles has done is a fricking idiot. 11 wins in Hurricane land; 11 wins and a kick arse on ND; 10 wins (and counting) with a Mash Unit team. You frickers need to get a life.
