Went to LSU Law in the mid=70's. Taking all history, I appreciated Saban, but he hauled arse due to $$$$. I LOVE the MESSAGE Miles gives to his players and to his, and LSU, real fans. The guy frigging gives up some of his own salary for assistants.

Look at the play calling all through the season. Crowton goes for his BYU slants and screens. When those are picked, it's 6.
Plus, that is Lee's worst scheme. When Lee has to go down field, come from behind,---- he's all world. Crowton deserves some of the heat.IMHO :bow:

Hey Clean--- it could happen. Sherwood Blount ( SMU Linebacker) was a frat bros. of mine in the early 70's. We lost to everybody except Rice. Sherwood went on to develope Galleria and other major RE deals in North Dallas. Sherwood (allegedly) got Eric Dickerson and Craig James to play for SMU. We were #2. Then death penalty because the big boys--- who do worse--- were scared that a small school could out-bid their arse. Go Poney's and the SMU BABES!

When he rejected BAMA, a stated reason was promised upgrades to WVA facilities and Athletic infrasructure. Part of the reason given in the press for his leaving was failure by WVA to upgrade as promised. If true, he has a good case to challenge the buyout. :cheers:
