Who can Riley snag as DC?

I really wanted Aranda as head coach, but looking at Riley I think he would be great as well. I would be thrilled if Riley was the guy as rumored. Just curious, who could Riley snag to keep LSU going with some of the great defenses that we have had over the last 20 years? No matter who it is, we need to keep one of the top SEC defenses in order to compete year in and year out.

Rough crowd. To rephrase, who would be the best defensive coordinator to pair with an offensive head coach like Riley? And do you think LSU and Riley can bring them in? You can blame the Saints for boring the shite out of all of us when we really need a break from this board on Thanksgiving.

What about the guy from Boston College? He’s young and done a damn remarkable job in turning around that defense.

Going fast offensively means you are going to give up points just from the nature of how much time the opposition will have to run it’s offense. You rarely see fast uptempo offense with a defense that gives up less than 14pts a game. Aranda is great and they had beasts on defense in 2019 and still gave up a ton of points
Grinch’s defenses are sound from a schematic standpoint. I don’t think they have the top end talent to play 80+ plays and keep opponents under 30 ppg.
